PulmoLearn for Respiratory Therapy Programs

Stop rebuilding your RT curriculum one course at a time.

PulmoLearn gives respiratory therapy programs a ready-to-implement teaching system: interactive student learning, LMS/LTI delivery, faculty assessments, competency resources, clinical scenarios, lecture support, and program-level progress visibility — all built specifically for RT education.

Built from the real pain points

RT educators should not have to build everything themselves.

PulmoLearn grew from student and faculty frustrations with fragmented course materials, expensive textbooks, inaccessible resources after a course ends, and the enormous amount of faculty time required to create meaningful clinical learning experiences from scratch.

📚

Textbook overload

Comprehensive RT texts are valuable references, but they can be overwhelming as the primary learning path. PulmoLearn organizes essential concepts into focused, interactive lessons students can revisit throughout their program.

🧩

Fragmented curriculum

Students often lose access to prior course materials just when they need them again. PulmoLearn provides one connected curriculum that supports learning across courses, clinicals, and RTE preparation.

⏱️

Faculty build burden

Slides, quizzes, competency exams, Canvas pages, breakout activities, clinical cases, alignment documents, and LMS setup take hundreds of hours to create and maintain. The educator package is designed to reduce that workload.

Why PulmoLearn exists

A curriculum designed around how RT students actually learn.

PulmoLearn was developed by an experienced respiratory therapist and RT educator to solve recurring student pain points: too much content, too many disconnected resources, limited long-term access, and not enough opportunities to apply what they know to realistic patient decisions.

The goal is not to replace every reference textbook. It is to replace the expectation that students should have to navigate thousands of pages and disconnected resources to figure out what matters most.

Students receive a structured learning path they can return to throughout school and beyond. Educators receive the teaching infrastructure to bring that curriculum into their own courses.

These spaces are ready for screenshots, short screen recordings, or animated GIFs. I would prioritize showing the workflow rather than decorative product images.

Program Director DashboardAdd a screenshot or short recording showing cohort progress, completion status, and student visibility.
Canvas + LTI Assignment ExperienceShow the assignment description in Canvas and the student launching a PulmoLearn activity or scenario.
Interactive Clinical ScenarioUse a screen recording of one of the strongest patient-based activities with branching decisions, feedback, and saved progress.
Faculty Resource PackageShow slide decks, speaker notes, QTI assessments, breakout guides, competency guides, and alignment files together.

Tip: 15–30 second muted screen recordings with captions will probably communicate the value better than long demo videos.

Implementation

From PulmoLearn to your existing courses.

The package is designed to complement your existing curriculum structure rather than force your faculty into a completely new LMS workflow.

Discuss Program Implementation

Student access is purchased separately at the current individual PulmoLearn rate. Hosted activities, scenarios, dashboards, and LTI access require active PulmoLearn student accounts. Downloadable program materials are licensed for internal use by the purchasing RT program and may not be redistributed to other institutions.

Funding & Program Improvement

Designed as a curriculum implementation investment.

The package may fit institutional curriculum modernization, workforce-development, CTE, or Perkins V funding priorities depending on local and state requirements.

Need a purchase justification?

PulmoLearn can provide a program-facing summary describing the instructional technology, faculty-capacity, credential-preparation, competency-alignment, and curriculum-modernization components of the package. Institutions remain responsible for determining whether a purchase is allowable under their applicable funding rules.

Educator FAQ

Common program questions

Yes. The program package provides implementation materials and educator tools. Each student uses an individual PulmoLearn account for hosted lessons, LTI activities, scenarios, progress tracking, and lifetime access to the student curriculum.

No. It is intended as a one-time implementation fee for the program package and included downloadable deliverables. Hosted PulmoLearn services remain tied to active student access and the continued availability of the PulmoLearn platform.

Yes. Downloadable faculty resources are intended for internal instructional use and can be adapted to fit the program's courses. They may not be redistributed, resold, or shared with another institution.

No. PulmoLearn is designed to work alongside the LMS. Canvas can remain the place where students see assignments, due dates, course organization, and grades, while PulmoLearn provides the interactive curriculum and hosted learning experiences.

Where supported, LTI lets a program launch selected PulmoLearn activities and scenarios from LMS assignments while preserving the student's PulmoLearn identity and access. The implementation package also includes Canvas-ready assignment descriptions and an assignment-builder workflow to reduce manual setup.

The package is structured as a curriculum implementation and faculty-support purchase and may be appropriate for some CTE, workforce-development, or Perkins V funding plans. Eligibility and allowability must be determined by the purchasing institution under its state and local rules.
