PulmoLearn was created by Melissa Wells, an experienced respiratory therapist, educator, instructional designer, and respiratory therapy program director. The platform was built from the perspective of someone who has cared for critically ill patients at the bedside, taught future respiratory therapists in the classroom and lab, and designed curriculum to help students move beyond memorization toward true clinical reasoning.
The goal of PulmoLearn is simple: make respiratory therapy content clearer, more interactive, and more clinically connected so students can build confidence before clinicals, prepare for exams, and enter the profession with stronger reasoning skills.
